by: Yunsirno The World Cup in Youth Version is in Indonesia!This November 2023, footballer young boys teams all over the world fight for the World Cup U-17. Indonesia gets the chance to be host. It has been held since 10 November until 2 December 2023. The tournament is located in 4 stadiums in 4 cities. They are Stadion Manahan in Solo, Jakarta International Stadium [JIS] in Jakarta, Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium in Surabaya, and Jalak Harupat in Bandung. Actually JIS is the biggest. It can load until 80 thousand spectators. But PSSI as the committee pointed GBT as the opening place and Solo as the final location. Why can it be? Now, we are the 19th host. Before the host was Brazil. At the time the winning country was the host too. In semifinal, they beat Franch 3-2, and in final they won against Mexico 2-1. Because of that cup, Brazil had collected 4 trophies. But they are not the best in history. The best collector has been Nigeria. They have collected 5 trophies. For recent tournament was followed by 24 teams from 6 confederation (representing continent). From Europe are Inggris, Prancis, Germany, Polandia and Spain . From Asia are Uzbekitastan, Iran, Jepang and South Korea . From Africa are Mali, Maroko, Senegal and Burkina Faso. From America are AS, Kanada, Mexico, and Panama . From America Latin are Brazil, Argentine, Equador and Venezuela, From Ocenia are New Kaledonia and New Zealand.
